All student organisations at Yale must register with the Office of the Secretary at Woodbridge Hall. We must also inform them that we will be involved in fundraising and are a tax-exempt organisation. Moreover, we need to apply to the Secretary to use the university name.
The Director of the McDougal Center permitted us to use the facilities in the center free of cost. They also agreed to co-sponsor some of our events. We could hold events there and also invite people from outside.
We should contact Yale Audio-Visual to purchase the licensing rights before screening a movie. We can also contact the Film Study Center for renting movies.
Contact the Registrar for booking auditoriums or classrooms. We should also get in touch with the Yale Center for International and Area Studies, (Committee on South Asian Studies), and explore areas of mutual interest.
